Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 10&7/8" 1967 fan-club promotional flyer for the Grateful Dead. Art by Rick Griffin with a photo by Gene Anthony, image (yellow/green version) is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 187 (plate 2.189)- this edition is black ink on tan/beige stock. Medium-thick textured index stock flyer is in absolutely sparkling mint/near mint (A/A-) condition; a GORGEOUS example of Griffin's awesome "Ship of the Sun" image from early '67. This flyer was originally issued as part of the Dead's original Fan Club promotional packet and was one of Griffin's first-ever Grateful Dead images.
