Original 1st printing 8&3/4 x 11&1/4" benefit* concert flyer, "Abe Lincoln's Birthday", which featured the Grateful Dead, Moby Grape, Sly & the Family Stone, Notes from the Underground and the New Salvation Army Band appearing at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA on 2/11/1967. Art by Hank Lelo, image is not part of the numbered Bill Graham/Fillmore series (this show falls on the same date as BG 49), but it does appear in the Art of Rock on page 151 (plate 2.73) in the "Fillmore Auditorium Benefits" chapter and is credited to BGP in the top margin. Thin stock flyer is in excellent to near mint (B+ to B+/A-) condition; a trace of handling, a whisper of edge wear/toning and a tiny edge tear (under 1/4" each) on the left margin, otherwise a fantastic-looking example of this early Fillmore benefit flyer with a killer lineup.
*benefit was for the Council for Civic Unity.
