Rick Griffin Tales from the Tube "Surfer" 1st/2nd Printings

Original 1st printing 8&1/4 x 10&3/4" 20-page (extra-thin glossy stock cover, newsprint interior) "Tales from the Tube" comic featuring art (and cover) by Rick Griffin, Jim Evans, Robert Williams and Bill Ogden, COMPLETE with the original issue of "Surfer Magazine" (without the cover) Volume 12, issue #26 (Feb. 1972). Thin glossy stock magazine is uin used shape- the aforementioned missing cover, a bit of moisture damage on a few pages, but the "Tales" portion is actually in much nicer shape, probably closer to -gloss coated index stock poster is in excellent (B+) condition; a lighter degree of moisture wear/slight rippling and a tiny blue mark on page 15, but it presents itself quite well and is INCREDIBLY hard to find with the magazine part still attached. As a bonus, the smaller (7&1/8 x 9&1/8") 2nd (1973) Print Mint edition (in about B+/A- condition) will be included with this lot. SUPER-COOL pair of early '70's Griffin surf comix.
