Original 1st printing 5 x 7" blank-backed concert card/handbill for Jefferson Airplane appearing with the Grateful Dead at the Carousel Ballroom In San Francisco, CA on 3/15-17/1968. Art by Alton Kelley, image ("Sore Thumb") is featured in the Art of Rock on page 182 (plate 2.172). Medium-thin flat index stock handbill is in near mint (A-) condition; aside from a tiny soft 1/4" bend in the bottom left corner, a couple of tiny pieces of archival tape on the reverse and a nearly-invisible fingerprint just above the edge of the thumb, it's a fine-looking example of this classic Dead/Airplane/Kelley/AOR image.
