Original 1st printing 14 x 21" concert poster for Santana appearing with Steppenwolf and the Staple Singers on 8/27-29/1968 and the Grateful Dead with the Preservation Hall Jazz Band and the Sons of Champlin on 8/30-9/1/1968, all shows held at the Fillmore West in San Francisco, CA. Art by (and SIGNED in flair pen by) Lee Conklin, image is # 134 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series. Medium flat index stock poster is in near mint to excellent (A-/B+ to B+) condition; just a couple of stray pinch dings in the right margin, a trace of handling/surface wear and an approximately 7" vertical/diagonal crease in the paper itself (a manufacturing flaw) that extends from just to the left of the "Bill Graham Presents" logo down to the bottom of the lion's eye; apparently there was an entire part of the print run that exhibited this particular anomaly (I've seen two others that have the exact same crease in the same place), so it's not unique to this individual poster. Despite this relatively minor issue, it's still a VERY crisp-looking SIGNED 1st PRINTING example of Lee's oft-requested (and legendary) "Santana Lion" image.
