Original 1st printing 14 x 21&1/4" concert poster for the Jimi Hendrix Experience with John Mayall's Bluesbreakers and Albert King appearing at the Fillmore Auditorium and Winterland in San Francisco, CA from 2/1-4/1968. Art by Rick Griffin, image ("Flying Eyeball") is # 105 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series. Medium flat index stock poster has been professionally restored to fantastic near mint to excellent (A-/B+ to B+) condition; a set of tack holes have been filled in and it was washed, leaving a slight wave to the paper, a stained area behind the eyeball has been mostly obliterated (although there is a slight ghost of a high-water mark in the blue field behind the eye) and a couple of tiny areas have been touched up, but it really looks VERY tight overall... a FANTASTIC 1st printing example of one of the most coveted posters in the entire series, one of Rick Griffin's finest moments.
