 ITEM DESCRIPTION
 Original 1st printing 14&1/4 x 20" concert poster for Quicksilver Messenger Service with Taj Mahal and the Blue Flames and the Sons of Champlin at the Avalon Ballroom on 10/27-29/1967. Art by Rick Griffin, image ("Sunday Funnies") is # 89 in the Family Dog/Avalon series. Medium flat index stock poster is in superb near mint (A-/B+) condition; only a trace of toning running along the upper right edge and a whisper of handling, otherwise a very bright and clean 1st printing example of one of Griffin's most popular late '67-early '68 Avalon images.
