Original 1st printing 14 x 17" concert poster for It's A Beautiful Day appearing along with Big Mama Thornton and Country Weather at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA on 2/14-16/1969. Art by underground comix legends Robert (R.) Crumb and Gilbert Shelton, image is featured in the Art of Rock on page 111 (plate 2.27). Medium glossy-coated index stock poster (printed by Rip Off Press) is in spectacular near mint (A-/B+) condition; aside from a soft 2" diagonal bend in the lower right margin, a few stray almost-invisible age spots near the top of the image area, a few tiny surface scratches and a tiny bump and ultra-soft bend in the top right corner, it's a super-crisp/extra-sharp example of Crumb & Shelton's classic "Jukebox" image from the Soundproof series.
