Original 1st printing 18&1/8 x 22&3/4" concert/event poster for the 9th Annual Sunshine Festival,  held in Diamond Head, Hawaii on 7/3-4/1977. Design by Croktryn (?),  image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 379 (plate 4.181) and advertises performances by Journey, the Elvin Bishop Group (featuring Mickey Thomas), Styx, Sandy Bull, Detective Macky Feary Band, Flash Cadillac and more. Medium-thicn glossy stock poster is in excellent (B+) condition; a 1&1/2" diagonal bend in the lower right corner, a few scattered handling dings and tiny stress cracks, a hint of edge wear, a quartet of pieces of old tape on the reverse and subtle age spotting near the top edge, otherwise fine. GORGEOUS design on this one, in addition to being one of the harder-to-find Sunshine Festival posters.
