Original 1st printing 13 x 18" concert poster for the Grateful Dead with Cleveland Wrecking Company on 10/18/1968 and Big Mama Thornton with C.W.Co. again on 10/19/1968, both shows held at the Bank in Torrance, CA. (also listed is a 10/20/1968 Free Clinic Benefit with "Super Guest Bands"). Art by Bill Wilson with photos by Bruce Wilson (Jerry Garcia) and Barry McClintock (Mickey Hart), image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 398 (plate 4.202). Medium to medium-thick flat index stock poster is in spectacular near mint (A- to A-/B+) condition; just a small soft diagonal handling bend below the "ton" of "Thornton" and a couple of minor pinch dings around the Mickey photo, otherwise it's a STUNNING example of this oft-requested Southern California Dead image from the AOR book.
