Original 1st printing (OP-1 in the Eric King guide, thick gray stock with the little fibrous "hairs") 14 x 20&1/4" concert poster for Los Angeles psych-rockers Love (featuring Arthur Lee) with the Sons of Adam and the Charlatans at the Fillmore Auditorium (final FD show at the Fillmore) in San Francisco, CA on 4/8-9/1966. Art by Wes Wilson, image ("Dirty Old Man") is # 4 in the Family Dog/Avalon series. Thick flat fibrous vellum stock poster has been professionally restored to very good/excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; tack/pin holes have been filled in all four corners, a few old moisture/age stains have been washed/blended (very well, I might add), along with a couple of small repaired tears (one small 1" edge tear in the lower right margin remains) and a few small surface glitches that have been fixed-up, but the overall look of the piece is quite nice- it would look just fine in any collection. VERY, VERY hard-to-find early Family Dog poster, these almost NEVER surface... this one was actually owned by a member of one of the bands and was just recently (only a couple of months ago) unearthed. This is definitely one of the few "set stoppers" in the Family Dog run.
