Original 1st/only printing 13&3/4 x 20" concert poster for the Mothers of Invention (featuring Frank Zappa) at the Cafe Au Go-Go (Garrick Theatre) in New York City (no dates on the poster, but the band appeared at the venue from 5/2-21/1967). Art by Bruce Maddox for Liberty Graphics (featuring the cover photo from "Absolutely Free"), this is one of the six images from the Liberty Graphics/Cafe Au Go-Go series that were sold upstairs from the club at "the Infinite Poster". Medium flat vellum stock poster is in good/decent (B/B- to B-) condition; about 1" of missing paper in the top right corner, toning, a set of tack holes (all four corners), a 1" wedge tear in the lower right corner, a 1" vertical tear in the top left margin (taped on the reverse), a decent-sized (4-5") horizontal roll/stress bend in the top left margin, a wedge tear in the "r" of "Mothers", several tiny nicks and a tiny tear or two scattered around the outer edges, a couple of tiny well-hidden tape pulls and a small area of patched-in paper (about 1/8") above FZ's eye... this one saw some use. Still, a very decent-looking original psychedelic Zappa poster from the legendary Spring '67 run of NYC shows. Believe it or not, footage exists:
