Original 1st printing 13&5/8 x 19&7/8" concert poster for Quicksilver Messenger Service and the Great Society (featuring Grace Slick) at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA on 9/9-10/1966. Art by (and SIGNED in pencil by) Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley with a photo by Edward S. Curtis, image ("Bull Bear") is # 25 in the Family Dog/Avalon series. Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; a set of tiny pin/staple holes in the bottom corners, a pair of tack holes in the top corners, a tiny stain and edge pull just below Mouse's signature, a light 2" diameter round coffee cup stain on Bull Bear's cheek (right next to his nose), a couple of light scattered pinch dings, a trace of toning and a couple of small stress bends in the upper left margin, otherwise a very nice-looking SIGNED example of this early '66 Family Dog poster.
