Original 1st printing 10 x 14" concert/event flyer for a benefit for the "Liberation News Service" at NYC's Hotel Diplomat on 5/13/1969, featuring the MC5 with the Children of God, Pageant Players Newsreel and the Pablo Light Show. Thin flat stock flyer is in very good (B/B+) condition; a semi-flattened vertical crease/bend, a few scattered handling dings and a hint of toning, otherwise fine. Very unusual/uncommon NYC benefit piece featuring Detroit's own MC5 at the height of their political-activist period. The Liberation News Front was apparently a very left-leaning underground press that operated up in Morningside Heights, in very close proximity to Columbia University.
