Original 1st printing 14 x 22" concert poster for the Grateful Dead with the New Riders of the Purple Sage at the Santa Rosa (CA) Fairgrounds on 12/12/1970. Art by Stanley Mouse (portraits) and Timothy D. Dixon (lettering/layout), image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 364 (plate 4.96). Medium-thin semi-gloss stock poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; faint tape stains/discolored areas in all four corners, a light to moderate amount of handling/light creasing, a few scattered tiny surface stains and a hint of edge wear, otherwise fine- this is actually one of the better-looking examples I've seen. A perennially popular Grateful Dead image from the AOR, you can listen to the show here;
