Original 1st printing 13&1/4 x 20&5/8" concert poster for the Magic Sam Memorial Concert, a tribute to the then-recently-deceased blues singer/guitarist featuring Paul Butterfield, Mike Bloomfield, Elvin Bishop, Nick Gravenites and Charley Musselwhite, held at the Fillmore West in San Francisco, CA on 2/11/1970. Art by John Van Hamersveld, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 156 (plate 2.86) and is an un-numbered part of the Bill Graham/Fillmore series. Medium-thick glossy stock poster is in beautiful very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; a few scattered handling bends/light stress creasing, a few tiny scattered surface pits/scratches, minor crunching in the right center margin and a few small edge dings, otherwise fine. One of the harder-to-find non-numbered Fillmore posters, this is a really nice example. Looks GREAT in person.
