Original 1st printing 19 x 25&1/4" (hand-trimmed by the artist from the original approximately 22 x 28") concert poster for Blood, Sweat & Tears (post-Al Kooper lineup) with Spirit at the Alexandria (VA) Roller Rink on 1/26/1969. Design by (and SIGNED in pencil and dated "1968" by) Dail W. Beeghly, thick pulpy oak-tag/"construction paper" stock silkscreened poster (printed with flourescent/day-glo ink) is in OK/used (B-/C+) condition; aside from the aforementioned trimming, there's a fair amount of edge/corner/surface wear, a 5" diagonal tear in the top right corner covered with clear cellophane tape, several areas of ink cracking, a 1&1/2" tear in the second "i" of "Spirit", clear tape all around the edges of the reverse.... this one was actually salvaged from the artist's studio floor some years ago, it was one of his personal copies. A bit whooped for sure, but it's the real deal. It CAN be brought back with a quality restoration job, and we can recommend a qualified restorer if needed- just let us know. Real neat-looking low-run regional psychedelic poster from the DC area with rock-solid provenance.
