Pair of original mint/near mint (A/A-) condition 1st printing concert handbills designed by Rhode Island-based psychedelic artist the Mad Peck; the first is a 5&1/2 x 7&1/2" postcard-backed thin index card stock concert handbill for Country Joe & the Fish appearing at Rhodes-On-The Pawtuxet in Cranston, RI on 11/29/1968. Also included is a 5&1/4 x 8&5/8" blank-backed thin index card stock concert handbill for Richie Havens appearing at Meehan Rink on the Campus of Brown University in Providence, R.I. on 4/11/1969. GREAT-looking pair of low-run regional oddball concert handbills by the mysterious Mad Peck. |
