Original 1st printing 12&7/8 x 16&3/8" concert poster for "The Emancipation of Hugh Masekela", a tribute to the the South African jazz trumpeter that also featured Letta Mbulu and the Family Tree, held at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA on 2/19/1967. Art by "SM", poster is not part of the Bill Graham/Fillmore series, but was instead promoted by SF jazz club the Both/And. Medium-thin flat index stock poster is in beautiful near mint (A- to A-/B+) condition; just the slightest of soft bends in the bottom right corner and a touch of handling wear along the right edge, otherwise fine. One of the more unusual non-numbered Fillmore posters, this one has a really pretty design and fantastic colors.
