Original 1st/only printing 15&3/4 x 20&1/2" record store/head shop/merchandising poster done for the Grateful Dead, printed by Berkeley Bonaparte in May 1967. Art by Robert ("Bob") Fried, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 190 (plate 2.190). Silkscreened onto semi-thin clear translucent plastic, this one is in absolutely stunning mint/near mint (A/A- to A-) condition; there are virtually no issues with this poster that I can see- it's a really, REALLY crisp example, probably the cleanest one of these I've ever personally held in my hands. Most existing copies of this poster have something going on- a scratch, a ding, a crack, what-have-you.... this one exhibits no visible flaws whatsoever. A GORGEOUS (and oft-requested) original '67 Grateful Dead poster in unbeatable shape.
