Original 1st printing 5&1/2 x 8&1/2" concert handbill for legendary beat-era comedian Lenny Bruce (his FINAL performances) with the Mothers of Invention (featuring Frank Zappa) at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA on 6/24-25/1966. Art by Wes Wilson with a photo by Edmund Shea, image is number 13 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series. Thin flat stock handbill is in good/decent (B/B- to B-) condition; a 1/8 x 3/8" nip out of the lower left corner, flattened horizontal/vertical folds, pin holes in all four corners, light handling/surface wear (a couple of light smudges and the ghost of a tape mark in the left center margin, otherwise fine. The condition of the handbill fits in well with Ed Shea's photo of LB... a little ragged, but not without it's charm. An overall presentable example of a VERY early Bill Graham handbill.
