Pair of original 1st printing Mouse/Kelley-designed concert posters for a pair of Family Dog-produced 1966 shows at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA; the first is a 14&1/8 x 20" concert poster for Texas garage-rockers the Sir Douglas Quintet with Everpresent Fullness on 7/8-10/1966, image ("Keep California Green") #16 in the Family Dog/Avalon series. Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in decent (B/B-) condition; a 1&1/2" brown tape stain in the upper left corner, numerous scattered staple/tack holes (in all four corners, around the outer edges plus several more in various random points around the image), handling wear (a few small bends/pinches/tiny stress creases), one or two small areas of light toning, and a couple of minor edge/corner bends and a tape pull with a tiny bit of pen scratch on the reverse, otherwise fine. The other is a 13&7/8 x 20" thin flat/pulpy stock poster for rock & roll pioneer Bo Diddley with Quicksilver Messenger Service on 7/28-30/1966, image ("His Master's Voice") #18 in the series. This one is in good/decent (B to B/B-) condition; numerous scattered staple/tack holes (all four corners plus three or four more in various random points around the image), several tiny surface scuffs/splatter stains, slight handling wear (a few small bends/stress creases) and a couple of edge creases, but is otherwise fine. Both of these posters come from the collection of Sanford Tucker, proprietor of the legendary "Sanford's" and "Velvet Underground" hip clothing boutiques of San Francisco.
