Pair of original 1st printing Bonnie MacLean-designed concert posters for a pair of Bill Graham-produced 1967 shows at the Fillmore Auditorium, Cow Palace and Winterland in San Francisco, CA; the first is a 14 x 21&1/4" medium-flat vellum stock poster for Long Island's own Vanilla Fudge with Blue Cheer and the Sunshine Company at the Fillmore Auditorium on 9/21&23/1967 and Donovan at Cow Palace on 9/22/1967 (image #84 in the Fillmore series) in excellent (B+) condition; a single staple hole in the upper left corner, a hint of handling, a whisper of toning and a couple of tiny bits of glue residue/pen scratch on the reverse, otherwise fine. The other is a 14 x 21&1/8" poster featuring the Byrds with B.B. King and the Electric Flag at the Fillmore on 12/7 and at Winterland on 12/8-9/1967 (image number 96 in the series); Thick flat vellum stock poster is in decent/OK (B-) condition; numerous scattered pin/staple holes in all four corners and at several points within the image (item was posted in 1967), with a decent-sized grouping in the top left corner, scattered small stains/surface/edge dings, areas of toning around the lettering and a few old tape residue marks on the reverse, otherwise not too bad- a fairly charming example overall. These posters come from the collection of Sanford Tucker, proprietor of the legendary "Sanford's" and "Velvet Underground" hip clothing boutiques of San Francisco.
