Pair of original 1st printing Wes Wilson-designed concert posters for a pair of Bill Graham-produced 1966 shows at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA; the first is a 13&7/8 x 20&1/8" poster for Love (featuring Arthur Lee) with the Everpresent Fullness on 8/5-6/1966, image number 21 in the series. Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+) condition; (3) tiny pin holes in the top center, lower right corner and in the "o" of "Love", very subtle/light toning, a tiny bit of tape residue on "tickets at the door" in the lower left corner and in the "or" of "Auditorium", a bit of pen scratch on the reverse and a trace of very light handling, otherwise fine. The other is a 14 x 20" poster featuring garage/surf heroes Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs with the Sit-Ins on 8/5-6/1966. This one is number 22 in the series. Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in decent/OK (B-)condition; numerous scattered pin/staple holes (including a good-sized nail hole in the center of Domingo's head), a 3/4" tear in the top margin (through "Francisco"), a few scattered surface smudges and a tiny bit of pen scratch on the reverse and a trace of very light handling, otherwise a very charming example. These posters come from the collection of Sanford Tucker, proprietor of the legendary "Sanford's" and "Velvet Underground" hip clothing boutiques of San Francisco.
