Original 1st printing 25 x 37&1/2" extra-large event poster for the 7/17/1967 opening of the Joint Show at the Moore Gallery in San Francisco, CA featuring music by Country Joe & the Fish and exhibited art by Wes Wilson (who did this version of the poster), Rick Griffin, Victor Moscoso, Stanley Mouse, Alton Kelley and more. Art by the aforementioned Wes Wilson, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 235 (plate 2.349). Thick high-gloss coated index stock poster (printed by Neal, Stratford & Kerr) is in spectacular mint/near mint (A/A- to A-) condition; aside from a slight curl and a stray fingerprint or two, it's as bright and crisp as the day it was printed in 1967. Absolutely GORGEOUS Wes Wilson image, and the only one of the Joint Show posters that mentions the appearance of Country Joe & the Fish.
