Set of (4) original 1st printing concert handbills from assorted venues in Portland, OR. Handbills include: Steve Miller Band with Total Eclipse and United States Cadenza at the Masonic Temple on 6/25/1969, the Youngbloods with Portland Zoo, River and Ron Bruce at Springer's Ballroom on 7/18/1969, John Mayall at Springer's Ballroom on 8/17/1969 and Love (featuring Arthur Lee) with River and Nostradamus at the Elk's Temple on 8/1/1969. Jim Blashfield was the artist for the Steve Miller and Youngbloods, Rick Kuehn did the John Mayall and the artist on the Love one is unknown. Conditions range from good (B/B-) to excellent (B+) condition; all of them have pin/tack holes, assorted wear (the Miller handbill has several creases/folds, the Mayall has a creased upper right corner and toning, the others are essentially fine, save for a set of pin holes) but they are for the most part in decent shape. VERY neat little set of oddball 1969 Portland handbills... be sure to check out additional listings from this extensive (and VERY cool) Portland collection, including several VERY unique and interesting one-of-a-kind items.
