 ITEM DESCRIPTION

Original 1st printing 14 x 25" concert poster for Quicksilver Messenger Service with the Nazz-Are Blues Band and Dr. P.H. Martin's Magic Medicine Show (lights) at the Crystal Ballroom in Portland, OR on 31-2/1968. Artist unknown, image is number P-3 (the third poster in the official numbered series) in the Family Dog/Portland series. Thin glossy stock poster is in good to very good (B to B/B+) condition; a fair amount of handling/creasing/wear along the top/bottom margins (tiny edge tears, small bends, etc.), a pair of tiny nips out of the top left and bottom right corners (about 1/4"-1/2"), scattered tiny handling creases/pinch dings and a whisper of surface wear, otherwise fine. A FANTASTIC-looking example of this hard-to-find Family Dog Crystal Ballroom poster, one of the most coveted images in the run (and a SICK-looking QMS poster, to boot)...be sure to check out our other listings for a wide selection of original posters and handbills from Oregon, including a few really unique one-of-a-kind items. Check out an EXTENSIVE gig list/history of the Crystal Ballroom during the late '60's HERE:
