Original 1st printing 14&7/8 x 20" day-glo silkscreen concert poster for PNW psych favorites the New Tweedy Brothers with Moxie on 4/26/1968, the Fringe Benefit with the Moss on 4/27/1968 and the Fugs on 5/3/1968, all at the Crystal Ballroom in Portland, OR. Art by Gary Ewing, image ("Crystal Palace") is ostensibly part of the short-lived "Crystal Dog" series (sometimes considered to be a minor extension of the Family Dog/Portland series), although there is no "Dog" mention- it was still likely the same post-Chet Helms promotional team). Medium-thin flat vellum stock hand-pulled 2-color day-glo silkscreen poster is in gorgeous near mint to excellent (A-/B+ to B+) condition; a couple of minor diagonal bends in the lower right margin, a couple of minor handling dings, a couple of areas of ink spread and a tiny bit of edge wear, otherwise fine. Absolutely GORGEOUS colors on this ULTRA-unusual/oddball Crystal piece... this was without a doubt one of the COOLEST-looking pieces in the extensive Portland collection that we are featuring in this Sale. Very, VERY neat piece indeed and the only hand-done poster in the series.
