Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" (40) page New England folk-scene magazine, "The Broadside" (Volume IV, issue 17 dated 10/13/1965). Art by Roseanne Aversa, Florri Aversa, Andrea Greene, Audrey Cerra and Melinda Cowles (cover photo of Gordon Lightfoot by Rick Sullo), magazine features numerous articles, reviews, local business ads and a SLEW of concert advertisements for Phil Ochs (11/6, Jordan Hall) Woody Allen (10/? Back Bay Theater), Eddy Arnold (10/15, Back Bay Theater) and a pair of Bob Dylan ads (one full-page, one half-page) for shows in Worcester (10/16), Providence (10/22), Boston (10/29) and Hartford (10/30). Medium-thick flat newsprint stock magazine is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; there are a couple of thin diagonal bends on the cover, plus a soft vertical center fold, a hint of surface scuffing, light handling, a pair of rusty staples and a bit of minor spine wear, otherwise it is a fine example of this scarce Boston-area folk-scene magazine with TONS of great content. VERY UNCOMMON Bob Dylan-related item!
