Original 1st printing (Adprint Co. of Los Angeles) 19&1/2 x 27&1/4" concert poster for Jefferson Airplane appearing with Charley Musselwhite, Clear Light and the Ceyleib People at the Shrine Exposition Hall in Los Angeles, CA from 2/23-24/1968.
Art by John Van Hamersveld, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 275 (plate 3.66) and is part of the Pinnacle Presents series.
Medium-thick flat index stock poster has been partially restored to good/very good (B to B/B+) condition; there have been numerous repairs/fills in all four corners and in several places around the outer edges with a bit of touch-up/in-painting (if you enlarge the photo, the darker spots of green are the restored areas), and there remain a couple of decent-sized tears along the left margin (sealed on the reverse with clear tape), a few handling dings here and there, a light amount of toning and a pair of semi-flattened diagonal bends in the upper left/lower right corners, but overall it still looks pretty nice.
KILLER Jefferson Airplane concert artifact from Southern California! The first printings are becoming hard to find, I have only seen a few examples over the years.
