Original 1st printing 28 x 11" concert poster for a HUGE New Year's Eve show at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA on 12/31/1967 featuring Country Joe & the Fish, Mount Rushmore, Lee Michaels, Mad River, the Flamin' Groovies and Blue Cheer.

 Art by Raphael (Was Bob) Schnepf with a photo by Thomas Weir, image is # 99 in the Family Dog/Avalon series.

 Medium glossy-coated index stock poster is in excellent (B+) condition; there are a couple of tiny pin-prick surface spots in the lower left corner, plus a series of VERY tiny "mouse bite" edge nips in the bottom margin and a couple of soft fingerprint smudges, otherwise fine.

 GREAT-looking psychedelic poster from what looks like a VERY fun New Year's Eve at the Avalon.
