Original 1st printing 14 x 20" concert poster for the Charlatans appearing with the Sparrow (Steppenwolf) and Canned Heat at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA from 4/7-8/1967.

 Art by Rick Griffin (with a photo by Herb Greene), image is # 56 in the Family Dog/Avalon series.

 Medium flat index stock poster is in decent/used (B/B- to B-) condition; there are staple/pin holes in all four corners, along with a number of brown glue residue marks/stains in the upper/lower left/right margins, a soft diagonal bend traversing the center of the image area, a 3" diagonal bend in the lower right corner, a smudge in the top center margin, a few stray handling dings and a hint of toning- definitely a bit on the used side, but still acceptable.
