Original 1st printing 11 x 14" double-sided concert flyer (linen-backed to 13&3/4 x 16&7/8") for the Grateful Dead appearing (with the New Riders of the Purple Sage- not listed) at Jenison Field House on the campus of Michigan State University in Lansing, MI on 3/13/1971.
Design R. Wagner, medium-thin index stock flyer has been professionally restored to excellent (B+) condition; in addition to the aforementioned linen-backing, the corners have been filled/replaced and there is a bit of minor in-painting around the outer border area, but the central image is still pretty sharp- maybe a couple of tiny hairline cracks here and there, but still quite nice.
Very presentable restored example of this EXTREMELY scarce low-run early-'71 Grateful Dead concert artifact from Michigan. Extra-interesting, as there are portraits of Mickey Hart and Tom Constanten (both of whom had left the band by this point), but no portrait of Bill Kreutzmann! Go figure...
