Pair of original 1st printing blank-reverse concert handbills for a pair of Bill Graham-produced shows at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA.
Art by Wes Wilson, images are #'s 36 (Bola Sete with Country Joe & the Fish and Buffalo Springfield from 11/11-13/1966) and 37 (Jefferson Airplane with the Grateful Dead and Quicksilver Messenger Service on 12/31/1966) in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series.
The BG 36 handbill is on medium-thin vellum stock and has pin holes in the upper left/right corner tips (with a tiny edge tear in the upper right corner), along with a VERY thin horizontal roll bend traversing the upper margin and a few soft handling dings hiding within the image area, about B/B+ to B+ condition overall.
The BG 37 handbill is 4&1/4 x 8", on medium-thin vellum stock- it has a set of pin holes, a few light handling dings and a light amount of spotting in the outer dark purple border, also about B/B+ to B+ condition.
Neat little pair of late-'66 Fillmore handbills! These are from just before BGP made the transition from handbills to postcards.
