Original 1st printing 16&1/2 x 22&3/8" concert/event poster and original 20 x 22&5/8" aluminum printing plate for "Workout", featuring appearances by the Charlatans, Congress of Wonders, Original Soft Pretzel and a dance performance by Ann Halprin, held at the Straight Theater in San Francisco, CA from 10/20-21/1967.

 

 Art by "L.G.", medium-thick flat index stock poster is in excellent (B+) condition; there are a series of semi-soft handling dings and a few thin hairline stress bends scattered throughout the image area, along with a couple of soft corner bends, a touch of toning, a thin horizontal bend across the top center margin and a tiny pull/pencil scratch on the reverse, otherwise fine.

 

 The aluminum printing plate is in good shape- there are a number of small creases/bends scattered throughout the image area and around the borders, plus a thin diagonal bend (about 6" long) in the upper right corner, a couple of corner-tip pressure creases and a bit of light surface wear, but overall it is in REMARKABLE shape for an item that was basically rescued out of a press room over 50 years ago... not originally intended for public consumption.

 

 AWESOME set of original 1967 Haight-Ashbury psychedelic concert artifacts, these would look REALLY nice framed up.
