Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" double-sided art event flyer for a 2/26/1967 exhibition of drawings and paintings by Godo Paulekas, the (late) son of Los Angeles-based artist (and notorious Hollywood "scenester") Vito Paulekas and his wife Sue (Szou).
Thin flat stock flyer is in near mint (A-) condition; aside from a couple of soft handling dings and a touch of subtle edge toning, this item is in VERY clean shape.
Unusual/interesting item from an admittedly strange/creepy event (which may have also included a performance by Arthur Lee and Love, according to the consignor); the show was organized by Vito and Sue (and presumably also included their group of assorted "freaks"- Karl Franzoni, Beatle Bob and the like) shortly after the accidental death of their toddler son in late 1966. I won't get into the specifics (there are too many to mention here), but a quick internet search will lead you to the basics of the story... a very unusual passing, to say the least.
