Original 1980 1st edition of the Schanes & Schanes Portfolio of Underground Art, edited by David Scroggy.

 Portfolio contains THIRTEEN (13) original 1st printing 11&1/2 x 16" ARTIST-SIGNED and numbered (47/1000) one-color lithographs with accompanying 32-page 5&1/2 x 8&1/2" booklet and embossed slipcase, participating artists include: Rick Griffin (whose design doubles as the cover art), Greg Irons, Robert (R.) Crumb, Robert Williams, Spain Rodriguez, S. Clay Wilson, Larry Todd, Rory Hayes, Rand Holmes, Guy Colwell, Dan O'Neill, Jack Jackson (Jaxon) and Gary Hallgren.

 Medium-thick "woven" textured stock lithographs are all in near mint to excellent (A-/B+ to B+) condition; the odd soft pinch ding/surface smudge/corner-tip bend or two on a few of the plates and the slipcase has a bit of corner/surface wear, but overall the set is in FANTASTIC shape.

 INCREDIBLY COOL set of underground comix art lithos, including a NUMBER of very hard-to-obtain (Irons, Jaxon, Spain) signatures.
