Pair of original 1st printing concert posters for 1960's folk icon Richie Havens appearing at Avery Fisher Hall (Lincoln Center) in New York City. The first is a Don Havens-designed 17 x 22" thin flat index stock poster from a show held on 11/7/1973; this one is in good to very good (B to B/B+) condition; there are staple holes in each corner and in the left/right center margins, brown tape marks in the top/bottom center margins, a light amount of handling wear, a couple of tiny edge tears scattered around the outer margin area and and a series of ultra-tiny thin stress bends, otherwise fine. The second poster is a 17&1/2 x 23" thick vellum-stock poster for a show held on 10/2/1977, which also featured an appearance by NYC funk/jazz band Stuff (Cornell Dupree, Eric Gale, Richard Tee, Gordon Edwards and Steve Gadd); this one is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition- there is a 1/2" tear in the top center margin, along with a series of light bends/creases scattered around the outer margin area, a couple of tiny corner-tip bends, a series of nearly-invisible horizontal roll bends, a light amount of handling wear and a trio of tape marks on the reverse. REALLY cool pair of original 1970's-era Richie Havens NYC concert artifacts.
