Original 1st printing ("The Food" 1968) 14&1/8 x 22" concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing with Morning Glory at King's Beach Bowl in Lake Tahoe, CA from 2/22-24/1968.

 Art by Bob Fried, image ("Trip & Ski") is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 263 (plate 3.29).

 Medium flat index stock poster is in used (B-) condition; as the photo shows, there are several small chunks of paper missing from the margins/corners, along with a fairly moderate to heavy amount of edge wear, a horizontal center crease, toning, a number of small bends and tiny handling dings... you get the idea, this one has been around the block an few times.

 Conditional issues aside, this one is a perfect example for someone who appreciates it more as a funky '60's artifact than as a collectible commodity. Portions of these shows were released as "Dick's Picks, Volume 22". For more on the Dead's shows in Lake Tahoe during the late '60's, read HERE:
