Original 1st printing 12&7/8 x 21&5/8" concert poster for the Grateful Dead (misspelled "Greatful Dead"), appearing with the Real Thing and Autumn People (lights by Marshmellow Cannon) at the Continental Ballroom (Auditorium) in Santa Clara, CA on 5/20/1967.
Art by Lee Cannon, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 233 (plate 2.343).
Thick flat vellum stock poster is in decent/used (B/B-) condition; there are small tape pulls and tack holes in all four corners (tack holes also in the top/bottom center margin and an additional pull in the ticket outlet area in the lower left corner), along with a series of thin stress bends, a few stray surface scuffs, a series of extra-thin hairline-thin horizontal roll creases in the lower part of the image area, a light vertical stain/discoloration along the left margin, a few tiny edge dings, a light amount of toning and a set of tape pulls/remnants on the reverse... definitely a little bit on the worn side, but it's all there.
AWESOME-looking low-run mid-'67 Grateful Dead poster from the Art of Rock book.
