Original 1st printing 14 x 23&5/8" concert poster for Love (featuring Arthur Lee) appearing with Lee Michaers and Moby Grape at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA from 12/2-4/1966.

 

 Art by (and SIGNED in black sharpie by) Wes Wilson, image is # 40 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series (BG 40-OP-2 in the Eric King guide).

 

 Medium flat vellum stock poster has been professionally restored to excellent to near mint (A-/B+) condition; there is an approximately 2" thin horizontal razor-slice cut in the lower right margin (just above the ticket outlet area) that has been sealed/covered, along with a thin 2-3" hairline-crack diagonal bend in the lower left corner, a tiny corner-tip bump or two and a couple of VERY well-hidden soft pinch dings lurking about, but overall this example looks absolutely GORGEOUS.

 

 All in all, a SUPERB-looking ARTIST-SIGNED example of the 1st printing BG 40 poster.
