Original 1st printing 17&7/8 x 24&1/4" silkscreen concert poster for a Hells Angels-sponsored show featuring the Grateful Dead and Bo Diddley appearing together at the Academy of Music in New York City on 3/25/1972. Artist unknown (likely a local member of the club), the image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 404 (plate 4.222). Medium-thick flat vellum stock silkscreen poster (printed with florescent/day-glo ink) is in excellent (B+) condition; there are a series of thin bends, tiny creases a light moisture stain and a tiny nick or two along the top margin, a 3/4" tear in the left center margin, a tiny nip and small bend in the bottom left corner tip, a few thin hairline ink cracks hiding within the image area, otherwise fine... absolutely EYE-SEARING colors on this one. A LEGENDARY show in Grateful Dead history (also Donna Jean Godchaux' first show as an official member), stream the 2nd set of the show (taped by the one and only Jerry Moore) HERE: https://archive.org/details/gd1972-03-25.set2.aud.berger.100352.flac16
