 ITEM DESCRIPTION
Original 1st printing (OP-1 in the Eric King guide, thick gray stock with the little fibrous "hairs") 14 x 20&1/4" concert poster for Los Angeles psych-rockers Love (featuring Arthur Lee) appearing with the Sons of Adam and the Charlatans at the Fillmore Auditorium (this was the final FD show held at the Fillmore) in San Francisco, CA from 4/8-9/1966.

Art by Wes Wilson, image ("Dirty Old Man") is # 4 in the Family Dog/Avalon series.

Thick flat fibrous vellum stock poster is in good (B) condition; there is a 1" wedge tear and a 3/4" pull in the top left corner, a pair of tiny staple holes with a couple of tiny drag tears in the top center margin, a thin 3/4" horizontal wedge tear in the upper right corner, a 3/4" triangular hole in the lower right corner (just beneath "Wilson"), a jagged 1" diagonal tear in the bottom center margin, a tiny green tape mark and a pair of staple holes in the lower left corner, a few well-camouflaged thin vertical stress bends and light handling dings hiding within the image area and a touch of warp to the paper, otherwise fine.

VERY decent-looking un-restored example of this early Family Dog image.
