Original 18&3/4 x 23" (*approximately- edges are hand-cut) 1979 pencil preliminary/concept sketch for "Run For the Roses", the fifth solo album by the Grateful Dead's Jerry Garcia. Art by (and SIGNED and dated '79 by) Victor Moscoso, sketch is rendered in colored pencil on several pieces of tracing paper (the lettering at the top is an overlay) with a few light thin bends/handling creases, a missing wedge of paper out of the lower right corner and the aforementioned edge trimming, but overall it is in GREAT shape- (*it was originally procured directly from the artist over 15 years ago). INCREDIBLY COOL ONE-OF-A-KIND Jerry Garcia artwork by one of the undisputed masters of rock and roll design. Victor's originals (especially pieces of this magnitude) do not appear on the open market very frequently AT ALL.... definitely a unique opportunity for somebody out there!
