Pair of original 1st printing posters for "Jimi Plays Berkeley", a 1971 documentary of Jimi Hendrix' appearances at the Berkeley Community Theatre in Berkeley, CA on 5/30/1970 (*two shows, both promoted by Bill Graham Presents). Both posters are thin glossy-stock "blanks"; the first is a generic 17&3/8 x 23&1/2" domestic-release poster in about B+ condition- just a few tiny pin-prick age spots, light handling and a slight curl to the paper, otherwise fine. The other is a slightly thicker 20 x 30" 1972 European "tour" poster for showings of the film accompanied by live performances by Cat Mother and Jimmy & Vella; this poster is in similar (B+) condition, with just a few tiny pin-prick age spots, light handling and a slight curl to the paper, but it is otherwise in pretty good shape. REALLY cool little pair of Hendrix film posters from the early'70's! Here's Jimi and the Experience careening through Chuck Berry's classic "Johnny B. Goode"; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ss_rk-RITts
