Original 1st printing 13&3/4 x 20&7/8" concert poster for Jefferson Airplane appearing with Quicksilver Messenger Service, Santana, It's A Beautiful Day and Dan Hicks & His Hot Licks in a legal-aid benefit for the Grateful Dead (to pay for the band's legal costs associated with their infamous New Orleans bust) at Winterland in San Francisco, CA on 2/23/1970.
Art by Randy Tuten, image is # 222 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series.
Medium glossy-coated index stock poster has been restored to very good (B/B+) condition; there are a couple of very thin horizontal bends, light handling dings and a few minor repairs hiding within the image area, along with a bit of edge/corner work (small paper fills and a bit of in-painting around the outer margin area), plus there are a few remaining surface dings/tiny scuffs, a trace of toning and a bit of minor wear on the reverse (a tiny bit of pen scratch, a few pin-prick age spots)... but overall it looks pretty nice, especially considering how difficult this stock can be to repair.
An overall decent-looking example of one of the harder-to-obtain late-period Fillmore posters.
