Official (Berkeley Bonaparte) 2nd printing (no credit, silver background) 14&1/4 x 20" conference/event poster for the Sierra Club's 10th Biennial Wilderness Conference held at the Hilton Hotel in San Francisco, CA from 4/7-9/1967.

 

 Art by (and SIGNED in pencil by) Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 239 (plate 2.365).

 

 Medium flat vellum stock poster is in excellent (B+) condition; there is a bit of ink spread in the upper white border area, along with a pair of tiny nip tears in the upper left margin with  thin crease/bend (about 1" long) between the tears, a few tiny edge dings scattered around the outer margin area, a stray soft pinch ding or two and a nearly-invisible ultra-soft diagonal bend (only visible from the reverse) extending from the lower left margin to the bottom center margin, otherwise fine.

 

 GORGEOUS example of the late-'67 Berkeley Bonaparte version of this Mouse/Kelley classic with a VERY nice pair of tastefully-placed pencil signatures (both obtained in person by the consignor)
