Original 1st printing 13&3/4 x 23" concert poster for the Charlatans appearing with Frumious Bandersnatch and Triple AAA (Anonymous Artists of America) at the Western Front in San Francisco, CA from 10/27-28/1967. Art by (and SIGNED in pencil by) Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley, image (red stock version) is featured in the Art of Rock on page 191 (plate 2.200). *This image was printed in two colors- the red one pictured in the AOR book and this version on tan/buff stock. It is sometimes referred to as "Fat F*ck" due to the tiny hidden profanity in the photo. Medium flat vellum stock poster is in excellent (B+) condition; there are a couple of soft diagonal bends (4" and 1") in the upper right margin, a VERY soft 2" diagonal bend in the top left margin/edge, a tiny bit of edge wear in the lower left margin and a pair of light press roller marks in the right center margin, otherwise fine. A SUPERB-looking DOUBLE ARTIST-SIGNED example of this classic mid-'67 Mouse/Kelley poster. Both signatures were obtained in person by the consignor in the 1990's.
