Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" double-sided concert/advertising flyer for Texas blues legend Freddie King appearing with Shepard's Bush on 9/19/1969, and with Onion Creek on 9/20/1969, along with a pair of shows on 9/16-17/1969 featuring New Atlantis and the Water Brothers at the Vulcan Gas Company in Austin, TX, along with an advertisement for Austin head shop/boutique Maya on the reverse. Art by Jim Harter (V.G. side) and JFKLN (Jim Franklin, Maya ad), image ("Man with Walking Stick") is an un-numbered part of the VG/Vulcan Gas Company series (VGC 1969-09-16/17-19-20) and is featured on page 248 of the Art of Rock. Thin flat stock flyer is in near mint to excellent (A-/B+ to B+) condition; aside from a couple of tiny corner tip bumps/soft diagonal bends and a tiny amount of toning in the top right corner tip, it is a truly fine-looking example of this late-period Vulcan Gas flyer.
