x Original 1st printing 14 x 20" concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing with the Jaywalkers at the Santa Rosa* (CA) Veteran's Hall from 6/17-18/1966.

 

 Art by Wes Wilson, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 232 (plate 2.338).

 

 Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in good to very good (B to B/B+) condition; there are a pair of decent-sized nail holes in the upper left/right corners, a series of tiny staple holes in the top center margin, a 1" square stain/discoloration in the lower right margin, a few tiny pin-prick spots scattered around the upper left margin area, a light amount of handling wear, a series of mounting tape remnants on the reverse and a small diagonal bend in the lower right corner, otherwise fine.

 

 An overall fine-looking gently-used example of this MEGA-early Grateful Dead image from Northern California. One of Wes Wilson's earliest Dead images, this one was done right around the same time as FD 12 ("Quick and the Dead").
